From 2009, you will be able to buy fresh produce and fine foods direct from local producers at the Katherine Community Market. We hope this weekly event will become your favourite place to shop, where you can meet the producers and catch up with family and friends.
You will be able to ask questions about produce, directly from the people that grow and make our food right here in the Northern Territory. You will also be able to learn about the producers and see what they are bringing to market right here on this website.
If you want the benefits of fresh, local produce, with the convenience of shopping from home, be the first in the queue by placing your order online, then choose to collect your items at the market on the day, or arrange home delivery that afternoon so you don’t have to lug it all around.

And here’s the icing on the cake - you don’t even need to have breakfast before you visit because among our stallholders will be vendors selling gourmet breakfast, lunch, tea and coffee - all made within the “buy local” spirit.
We even have plans to arrange guest speakers you can listen to on special interest topics, along with enjoyable light family entertainment.
