The Committee reviews applications for suitability. Every application is considered on it’s merit. You are advised to apply before incurring expenditure on product lines.

The Katherine Community Market maintains an insurance policy on behalf of the organisers and stall operators.
Stallholders only contribute to this cost on each day of attendance at Ryan Park, on market days.
There is no annual premium cost to you, therefore you are only paying a small reimbursement to the overall cost for the day you attend.
Most people have found this significantly reduces the annual premium compared to purchasing your own cover.
There are some exceptions where stall operators will need to get cover for their own risk.
If you have your own cover the fee is waived upon appraisal by the Committee in the application and renewal process.

The Katherine Community Market is a not for profit association operated by registered members for all participants, patrons and the citizens of the greater Katherine region.
We seek to create opportunity for small enterprise and build fair and inclusive social well being through services to the community.
