Come and try freebie, register $22 inc GST (valid for the trading year to June 2010) + Insurance $5.50, no other site fees for your first market.
The first market is on June 20th and it will be promoted as a “breakfast in the park”, register for a Stall Permit, pay your insurance for the day and try it out. We are keen to showcase a sample of things to come and cater for all the basic requirements of patrons.

Katherine Community Market joins forces with Katherine Regional Food Group who operate commercially approved kitchen facilities that are available to individuals and small enterprise to make their own products.
The two respective ventures are independent but go hand in hand in such a way that they are in effect collaborative partners, have mutual community minded objectives and are both “Not for Profit” operations, contact us for information.
Access to the kitchen overcomes several problems for individuals and small start-up enterprises that will otherwise need planning and health approvals for home based businesses.
Simple, take along your ingredients and recipe, make and package in the commercial facility.
Sell at the market, it’s just up the street from Ryan Park in the Red Cross complex.
Anything like a crate of ginger beer, a ute load of mango chutney and things like bakery items are feasible.
